Optimize the operation and maintenance of your rolling stock
In a rail sector facing increasing pressure on performance, cost control and energy transition, optimizing the operation and maintenance of rolling stock is becoming a central challenge for operators. Aging fleets, increased availability requirements, compliance with environmental standards and regulatory compliance require maintenance organizations to be questioned regularly.
Technical and organizational diagnosis
Any optimization process necessarily starts with a tailor-made diagnosis to draw up an overview of your situation. We need to deeply understand your operational objectives and constraints, your organization, your technical and operational difficulties with rolling stock. Based on the long experience of the SNCF group in operation and maintenance, we can then identify opportunities for improvement.

Optimization of reliability, availability and maintenance costs
Optimizing the availability of a fleet can be achieved through a multitude of initiatives, for example by improving spare parts supply flows, reorganizing maintenance plan tasks, or even implementing a predictive maintenance approach to free up certain installations.
To optimize the reliability of your machines, we generally adopt the FRACAS approach which, coupled with other approaches: supervision, REX analysis, performance management, guaranteed to achieve our goals.
Finally, the optimization of maintenance costs is very broad because it can concern both the organization of maintenance and its tasks, and the reduction of the costs of purchasing spare parts, their maintenance and their repair.

Reduced energy consumption and emissions
We attack large consumers of energy such as the traction chain (diesel or electric) or air conditioning/heating units, but also driving. Thanks to the SIM3PO software, we are able to model complete rolling stock, simulate its journey and compare different scenarios to deduce choices for machine modifications or driving improvements.
MASTERIS is also able to advise its customers by establishing a plan to reduce carbon and greenhouse gas emissions, thanks in particular to our experience in the use of bio-fuels, or in the transformation of air conditioning units to use fluids that comply with new regulations.
