Have Parts for the Maintenance of Rolling Stock
In a context of increasing pressure on the availability of rolling stock, strong constraints, reinforced regulatory requirements and rapid technological change, spare parts management is becoming a major challenge for railway players.
Ensuring effective and continuous maintenance involves much more than the simple supply of parts: it is a question of guaranteeing the right reference, at the right time, under the right technical conditions, while controlling costs and deadlines.
Buying parts
Our purchasing teams have an extremely wide range of suppliers. They are able to buy all types of parts, organized by families, and to negotiate competitive prices in view of the large volumes managed by the SNCF group. Our quality department ensures regular quality checks at our suppliers as well as at the reception.
Parts engineering
Our engineers carry out various missions throughout the life cycle of a part or subsystem:
- Drafting technical specifications as required
- Verification of the expected performance (calculations, tests)
- Expertise in the event of a faulty part
- Definition and Optimization of Parts Revision Frames
- Management of sustainability, treatment of obsolescence

Revision and repair of parts
10 industrial technicians, spread across France, ensure the daily repair and maintenance of PRMs — Repairable Equipment Parts. Each industrial technician specializes in several types of PRM, generally from the same family: braking units, power electronics, bogies, compressors, transformers, air conditioning units, batteries, axles, axles, electronic cards, electric or diesel motors, etc.

Logistics and parts distribution
Our logistics center connects on another internationally renowned Group company — Geodis — to ship all parts to the workshops within 24 to 48 hours (depending on the destination).
We offer our customers various services to ensure increased availability of PRMs; for example, the management of shared stocks between customers with SMRs of the same reference.
