Since 2021, MASTERIS has been supporting the city of Orléans in the modernization and renovation of the cabin air conditioning systems of its 21 Citadis 302 trains. These operations, which are essential to guarantee the reliability and longevity of rolling stock, are part of the maintenance program planned for 600,000 km. This contract, which was initiated in 2021, will end in 2025.

Our industrial expertise at the heart of the project

The work is carried out by the Technicentre Industriel de Charentes Périgord of SNCF Voyageurs, an expert in the maintenance of HVAC systems.
Major interventions include:

  • Industrial renovation of air conditioning equipment
  • Modification of protective circuit breakers
  • Addition of an electrical connector on motor fans to improve their interchangeability and simplify curative interventions
  • Optimization of maintenance cycles to extend the life of components

The advantages of MASTERIS in this project

MASTERIS, in charge of this mission, sets itself apart from its competitors with several differentiating advantages.

  • A relationship of trust developed with the customer
  • A contractual commitment rigorously respected
  • Optimized and controlled budget management

The main objective is to provide a quality, tailor-made service, while controlling the costs of this operation.

Since the budget is a crucial point within the DSPs (Public Service Delegation), all additional documents that are not included in the core service are subject to validation with the customer in order to meet its budgetary requirements.

Always in order to optimize costs, the lifespan of components is extended as much as possible to ensure that air conditioning systems are maintained in operational condition.

A five-year commitment

After a consultation phase in 2020, operations started in 2021 with an end initially planned in 2024. Following the activation of a contractual option, the project will continue until 2025.

A lasting and trusting relationship since 2015

This project is part of a continuity of collaboration between MASTERIS and Keolis Orléans Métropole Mobilities.
In 2015, MASTERIS was involved in the general overhaul of the Citadis 301 train bogies.
Since 2018, the company has also monitored Citadis 302 APS batteries using the MasterSuite tool.

With this contract, MASTERIS reaffirms its expertise and its commitment to providing solutions adapted to the needs of transport operators, guaranteeing the sustainability of Orléans rolling stock.

In Dakar, we are far from major European rail networks, so in the event of incidents it is important to be able to react quickly and independently. Within Hexafret, regulatory monitoring already exists on which ECE relies. However, it proved necessary to complete this monitoring in order to cover all the countries in which Hexafret operates, in particular Germany, Spain and Italy. Hexafret therefore turned to MASTERIS in 2024 to provide this service.

After a first year of collaboration, Hexafret satisfied with both the content and the contractual relationship, extended the regulatory monitoring contract in 2025. We appreciate its synthetic side.
