MASTERIS won a contract as part of a public tender launched by TPE (Transport Pays de l'Etoile) for the revision of 10-year bogie reducers and the maintenance of the doors of CITADIS trams operated by the subsidiary of RTM (Régie des Transports Métropolitains) in Aubagne.

The Aubagne Tramway, an Atypical Tramway

  • The rolling stock is a Citadis Compact and not a “Classic” Citadis as is generally the case. It is distinguished by its small size (22 meters against 32 for the classic)
  • This line is the second shortest in France
  • The Tram Is Completely Free

1 call for tenders, 2 lots and 2 different models

  • Door maintenance operations will be carried out by RM System directly on the customer's site. For more than 20 years, RM System has been a recognized industrial partner in the rail sector, in particular for having the capacity to intervene directly at the customer's premises.
  • Maintenance on the bogie reducers will be carried out at the Romilly Technician Center by the Hardware Teams. In this case, we ensure the customer the expertise of the SNCF group within the group's factory of the future.

The end of the contract is scheduled for:

  • Door lot: end of 2025.
  • Lot Bogie: first quarter 2026.

In Dakar, we are far from major European rail networks, so in the event of incidents it is important to be able to react quickly and independently. This is why it was important to improve the skills of the teams in lifting our Coradia machines and our work trains. MASTERIS was able to respond quickly and effectively to our expectations.

Within Hexafret, regulatory monitoring already exists on which ECE relies. However, it proved necessary to complete this monitoring in order to cover all the countries in which Hexafret operates, in particular Germany, Spain and Italy. Hexafret therefore turned to MASTERIS in 2024 to provide this service.

After a first year of collaboration, Hexafret satisfied with both the content and the contractual relationship, extended the regulatory monitoring contract in 2025. We appreciate its synthetic side.
