Complete renovation

The OPTER program, launched by SNCF Voyageurs in collaboration with 12 French Regions and Luxembourg Railways, represents a strategic investment of 2.3 billion euros for the modernization of 40% of the TER fleet (931 trains) in France (931 trains) in France (931 trains) in France (931 trains) by 2030. This ambitious initiative, financed by the Transport Organizing Authorities, aims to reconcile the ecological transition and the improvement of public rail services, in order to offer travelers a more comfortable and sustainable transport experience.

Key role of MASTERIS

The renovation of TER trains is part of a new contractual approach, specially developed to meet the requirements of the Regions and for which MASTERIS is in charge. We ensure the contractual management and coordination of maintenance operations carried out in SNCF Voyageurs industrial technicians so that this new form of collaboration meets the specific needs of each of the Regions, while guaranteeing them a high level of quality and reliability for their rolling stock fleet.

In Dakar, we are far from major European rail networks, so in the event of incidents it is important to be able to react quickly and independently. This is why it was important to improve the skills of the teams in lifting our Coradia machines and our work trains. MASTERIS was able to respond quickly and effectively to our expectations.

Within Hexafret, regulatory monitoring already exists on which ECE relies. However, it proved necessary to complete this monitoring in order to cover all the countries in which Hexafret operates, in particular Germany, Spain and Italy. Hexafret therefore turned to MASTERIS in 2024 to provide this service.

After a first year of collaboration, Hexafret satisfied with both the content and the contractual relationship, extended the regulatory monitoring contract in 2025. We appreciate its synthetic side.
