MASTERIS signs a maintenance service contract with MESEA

MASTERIS acts as the Entity in Charge of Maintenance (ECM) for MESEA

Signed on Friday, June 19, 2020, the contract between MASTERIS and MESEA formalizes the maintenance services provided by MASTERIS for 2 rail motorcars (the "Broom" units), 2 ZCA tampers, and a stabilizer wagon. This demanding commitment, which fully complies with European Regulation 2019/779, required Masteris to first obtain certification as an ECM (Entity in Charge of Maintenance).

A five-and-a-half-year contract worth €6M in revenue

MESEA had a clear requirement: to find an ECM (Entity in Charge of Maintenance) starting in June 2020 to maintain its work machinery. Negotiations began in June 2019.

The program is built on 2 key values: cohesion and trust. For this project, the scopes and responsibilities were clearly defined:

- MASTERIS oversees maintenance management and leads the entity responsible for maintenance development

- Fleet management and maintenance execution are handled by SNCF, the manufacturers SOCOFER and FRAMAFER, as well as MESEA.

MESEA, maintainer of the Tours-Bordeaux High-Speed Line

Based in Villognon near Angoulême, MESEA is responsible for the maintenance and operation of the High-Speed Line between Tours and Bordeaux for the duration of the concession, which runs until 2061. LISEA is the concession company for the Tours-Bordeaux HSL. MESEA has 195 employees spread across 4 maintenance bases.

MESEA's shareholding is composed of VINCI Concessions (70%) and SYSTRA (30%).
