MASTERIS will continue providing services to TAM Montpellier through 2025

MASTERIS continues its service partnership with TAM Montpellier through 2025
The Montpellier metropolitan transport network, known as TAM (Transport Agglomération de Montpellier), is set to undergo a major renovation and modernization of its braking systems over the coming years. With a contract value estimated at approximately 3 million euros, this initiative aims to meet the growing user demands for reliability, safety, and availability. In this context, MASTERIS, a certified ECM (Entity in Charge of Maintenance), was selected for this project thanks to its long-standing relationship with the TAM network and its reputation as a high-quality service provider.
A solid relationship and recognized expertise in the rail industry
Since 2012, MASTERIS has maintained a close relationship with TAM Montpellier, providing high-quality services that have been widely appreciated. Client satisfaction and the quality of services rendered were key factors in the renewal of this partnership. Thanks to this extensive experience, MASTERIS teams have gained a deep understanding of the client's specific expectations and requirements, allowing them to adapt effectively to requests and work together efficiently.
Adaptability to the client's commercial and technical needs
One of the main strengths of the MASTERIS bid lies in its ability to adapt to client expectations and the evolving urban rail transport market. Furthermore, we are capable of proposing innovations when developing our commercial offers. The Montpellier contract is a perfect example of this adaptability. Since its signing in March 2023, MASTERIS teams have worked in close collaboration with TAM managers to adjust and evolve the project according to specific needs. This flexibility ensures that the final result will be perfectly tailored to the client's requirements and will meet the highest standards in terms of availability, reliability, and safety.
Renovation and modernization of the TAM network's braking systems
The renovation and modernization contract for the local public company TAM in Montpellier includes two distinct lots. The first lot covers the renovation of brake calipers and power components, while the second lot concerns braking units and control components. This initiative provides the opportunity to carry out essential legacy maintenance operations to ensure the proper functioning of existing equipment. Additionally, MASTERIS will take this opportunity to conduct modernization operations to upgrade equipment and meet the latest urban transport market standards.
Free public transport: a challenge to be met
Free public transport is a significant aspect of the Montpellier contract. Indeed, the city's adoption of this new economic and social model makes it an exciting challenge for MASTERIS to guarantee the mobility of Montpellier residents and ensure a strong territorial commitment to sustainable transport. To meet all these challenges, it is essential that equipment remains functional, reliable, and secure. MASTERIS is committed to providing equipment that meets these requirements while carrying out the necessary modernization operations to improve the user experience.
All departments involved in achieving our goal
The success of this contract is undeniably the result of collaboration between stakeholders from MASTERIS, the Rennes industrial technical center, and the northern engineering cluster. We would like to express our gratitude to Cyrille Rame, Arnaud Vaquie, Thibaut Lobry, Gregory Ragot, Benjamin Hardy, and Stéphane Gouriou for their unwavering commitment. Furthermore, we would like to highlight the valuable contribution of Vivien Bouteille for the entire admission process; as a member of Michel Mayer's team, he contributed to this success in the development of our solutions. Without their contribution, this contract could never have been won.
