Long-term support since 2011

A long-standing partnership unites MASTERIS, the specialist in railway maintenance and engineering, with Ilévia (Keolis Lille Métropole), the historic operator of the Lille European Metropolis urban transport network.

The service contract was initially launched in 2011 following the development of a strategic partnership within the SNCF group. This collective journey began in 2008 between the engineering teams at the SNCF Industrial Technicentre in Rennes, who specialize in legacy railway brake maintenance, and the teams at Transpole (now Ilévia).

Creation of a specialized workshop

Determined to achieve autonomy in the upkeep and legacy maintenance of its hydraulic braking equipment, SNCF invested €1.5 million to equip itself with a new industrial facility to serve the needs of its Keolis subsidiaries.

A new workshop was therefore established at the SNCF Industrial Technicentre in Rennes in 2010. As part of a five-year partnership, Keolis Lille Métropole supported the SNCF teams in developing their skills for this equipment.

Trust renewed three times: in 2018, 2022, and 2025

Satisfied with the quality of the industrial and engineering services, as well as the business relationship provided by the MASTERIS teams, Keolis Lille Métropole decided to extend the contract for an additional two years in 2022.

Comprehensive expertise serving Keolis Lille

The decision to extend this strategic partnership with MASTERIS highlights the level of commitment and cooperation shown by the teams in the quality of service delivered to Keolis Lille Métropole.

Both partners have successfully capitalized on their genuine expertise in railway maintenance and engineering for vital components, such as those used in the hydraulic braking systems of automated metro assets.

Together, we have implemented customized work to provide the operator with optimizations for the legacy maintenance of its equipment.

The operator benefits from tailored solutions and legacy maintenance optimizations for its equipment, as well as cutting-edge technical expertise in managing component obsolescence.

This results in a compliance rate of nearly 100%.
