Berlin, Wednesday, September 23, 2026 At the InnoTrans trade fair, SNCF Voyageurs and its subsidiary MASTERIS are unveiling their ambitions for the industrial market.

Established in 2009, MASTERIS is the division dedicated to the commercial development of SNCF Voyageurs' rail maintenance and engineering expertise. Its mission is to make the exceptional know-how developed within the group accessible to rail transport stakeholders, including operators and organizing authorities.

In this context, MASTERIS serves as a single point of contact, built on a foundation of personalized consulting, high-quality industrial tools, integrated engineering, a lifecycle perspective, expertise across all types of rolling stock, and the practical experience of a rail operator in operations and maintenance.

Driven by the strong growth in rail mobility and fleet renewal, the increasingly structured and competitive rolling stock market represents a key commercial development pillar for SNCF Voyageurs and MASTERIS, both in France and internationally.

The goal is to increase the share of MASTERIS's revenue generated outside the SNCF Group from 20% to 40% by 2030, with a long-term target of 90%.

Already active in Luxembourg, Germany, Morocco, Ireland, Italy, Belgium, and the United Kingdom, MASTERIS is now entering a new phase of development: accelerating its international expansion beyond its traditional scope to reach a new commercial, industrial, and geographical milestone.

Alain Krakovitch, Deputy CEO of SNCF Voyageurs states: "Our ambition is to transform the industrial expertise developed within SNCF Voyageurs Matériel into a true engine for growth. Our world-class experience allows us to address all the challenges currently facing rail industry stakeholders."

Rémi Peltier, CEO of MASTERIS adds: "Thanks to its unique positioning, MASTERIS has become a strategic partner for operators, including on an international scale. We work with players such as Deutsche Bahn, Transdev, RATP Dev, CFL, and SNCB, leveraging our multi-manufacturer and multi-fleet expertise, our understanding of operational constraints, and our lifecycle cost-based approach. Our strength lies in our ability to apply our experience to every client's specific context."

With over €630 million in revenue in 2025 and 150 clients across 12 countries, MASTERIS draws on one of the largest rail industrial systems in Europe: 17,000 pieces of rolling stock maintained annually, 9,700 employees, 10 industrial technical centers, and integrated engineering.
